our plans are sort of the same

We are going go be putting some of it in the savings, and pay off some debt.

The change is to buy the back to school stuff for the kids and put some money aside for a new T.V. ours will quit in a few months when we go to HDTV.

Ours is going to the same thing, but it also depends on how much we get back. Since it is just two of us, are we guaranteed $1,200? No, it said up to $1,200, I could obviously do a lot more with $1,200 than I could with say $600....I guess it all depends on how much we get back. I am going to pay off debt and if there is left over, save it.

Well, it was going to go directly to pay on a cc...then when we found out we weren't getting a bonus this year it was going to finish the kitchen...then when we found out we were actually getting a refund this year, the refund was going to the kitchen and the rebate towards cc...now I think I might leave the refund in savings, use the rebate for cc and just save here and there to finish the kitchen. It's so hard for me to let go of large chunks of money.

I will split it with my spouse. He gets half to go into an account for a motorcycle. I get half. With my half, I will let the kids plan a vacation for $500( It looks like they want to spend it on season passes to Busch Gardens, Williamsburg). $500 will go towards savings and $200 will go towards home improvements.

Our is still going to pay down debt, but it is going a different bill. We had to get tires and have some work done on DH truck so that is first then the TV then working on the others.

Our plans have changed.

I was going to put all of it in our EF. Now, I'm using it to pay off our van a few months earlier. We need that extra breathing room with our monthly budget.

Our plans have sorta changed, we still plan to save the majority of it and take just a little tiny bit and get a bunch of storage totes so we can be more organized.
