For anyone who used TaxAct.com to file this year and did Direct Deposit for your regular refund, have you received your stimulus package via DD and was it there by the "no later then" date.

I have heard/read about the trouble of those who used Turbo Tax and/or HR Block having to receive a paper check, I am just wondering if this is true of TaxAct.com also.

Thanks for any help!!

I did.

I THOUGHT I was getting my rebate today via DD, but I see they changed the dates and I'm not getting it until FRIDAY.

I don't Know if their is any ryhme or Reason.

I Am Hearing all kinds of stories

I Know that Dh's Friend Filed With Hr Block and his SS # ends in 05 - He got his as Sceduled Direct deposit on May 2 =
We used turbo tax and DH's Ends in 09 and we haven't gotten anything yet.

I Was thinking that too - maybe we are getting a Check. Who Knows. I knew this wasen't going to Be Easy.

I just Researched it for Turbo Tax- And Yes It looks Like i Am Getting a Paper Check -.
Will be mailed 5-7 So Not too Bad...
I Paid for My Fees Using santa Barbara Trust -
I Do so every Yr.

Therefore the IRS doesn't have my routing bank Number to direct Deposit the$.

I Also Found out that this is Also True if you Used A Refund Anticipation Loan.

We did our taxes via Turbo Tax. We received our stimulus payment direct deposit today. Was expected the 9th.

We did file through State Farm Insurance - they were offering free filing to thier customers. It looks like if you had your preperation fees taken from your refund - you will get a paper check. If you paid them using a credit or debit card, you will get the direct deposit.

I used tax act online this year. I called the rebate hotline (irs) and it said they didn't have any info. then went on to say we'll get it by July 4. What the f! there is no info. on their website about using online tax preparation that would delay payment. I'm kinda bummed but I know dh will be furious. Oh, well, at least we're getting something. lol Did everyone that got the rebate so far get a letter specifically saying how much they were getting? I got the first letter saying we were getting one, but not specifically how much $ we were getting. Gotta love that.
