I swear this happens every time I don't budget $ for groceries. I started buying groceries every 2 wks. (our fareway and walmart are at least 20min. away) to cut down on gas costs. So last week I went shopping. This week the Fareway comes out w/ awesome sales! (its the anniversary sale) alot of stuff on the front was $.70! This always happens when I don't have the money. Oh well, hopefully there's some good deals next week.lol Also, our city wide garage sales are this weekend. Guess we'll be skipping a lot of those. I'm afraid if we go and dh is w/ me he'll want to buy something we can't afford. I have a big dentist bill coming next week. I need some motivation to keep me from spending this weekend. FYI I was planning on using $ from consigning stuff to go garage saling but nothing sold. Sorry, I don't mean to whine.

I have a hard time when my husband goes shopping with me. He really can ruin my budget. I do a big shopping trip once every other week and try save a bit for cherry picking the adds on the weeks that I'm not doing my major trip. To me, those sale fliers, usually, are worth it.
