We own!

My husband and I lived with our parents until we got married.
Rented from his parents (rent was only $100 a month! I loved that!) for about 10 months.
Then signed the papers to our home a few months after our first anniversary.

The house was my husbands grandfathers and when he passed on his children wanted to keep it in the family so they offered it to us at a great price.

The house is worth $90,000 and we only paid $45,000 for it! They let us move in before we signed the papers and we paid no rent. It is in need of updating but our house payment is less than $500 a month and it is only a few blocks from my hubbys job and within walking distance of both our families and the store.

We are currently renting. We have owned 2 homes in the past. We are still debating whether or not we want to buy here or rent until the next move.
