I wish I owned my house... the bank definitely does... I dont think I will ever OWN a house in my life time! So sad!

Own, just paid it off 3 years ago.

I rent. Can't afford to own, and don't particularly want to in this market.

I rent. I've had the same landlord for 18+ years.
I've lived in the same neighborhood since I was 6.
I have never been able to save money for a house, being a single Mom receiving sporadic child support.

I always say that the bank owns the house and is kind enough to let us live there.

I own with a 15 year mortgage.... only about 8 years till I "own" it!

We actually "rent" from my parents with potential to purchase. So I put lease to purchase.
