We did turbo tax too and so it says they don't have any of our info. If I'm reading the thing right, since we got a paper check and because of dh's SS#, we won't be getting ours until LAST!! July 15 But since we've not really planned anything special with it, I just figure when it gets here it will be extra money...not going to sweat it until then.

Some people really needs it or count on it, and the irs said so, so they should be on point ! And actually it is just our money that they are giving us back

I put my moms info in for her at that website too, and it said it didn't have any info on her. She didn't do rapid refund, she did a direct deposit. But she did H & R block online. Hmm... today would be the day she should get the money. My poor mom will flip if she has to wait for a check. She is so bad about wondering when money will get to her. She has an inheritance she has been waiting for since September, and they keep pushing back the day she will get it. And no, are no farfetched relatives trying to get it.
She is also going to flip when she finds out she doesn't get the full amount. I didn't realize that you don't get it if your tax liability is zero. I assume now that if you didn't have to pay taxes you don't get the full amount. Which makes sense to me. Those of us who get all are money back and then some get bonuses in other ways. Anyway, I am rambling.

I have never posted before but we did turbo tax; direct deposit and we got ours today. If you did direct deposit; it will be direct deposit. It has nothing to do with turbo tax. I know, we did get what we orginially thought we would.

I can't find anywhere on the site where it talks about Turbo Tax. Can someone tell me where?

We did to direct deposit, so I thought it should come today as scheduled.

I just stuffed myself with cake. How's that for coping?!!

I just wouldn't put my eggs in any basket depending on a date that the government puts on a web site. That's all I'm saying. I haven't checked when mine is coming in as I think the likelihood of it being here at that time is minimal. So why get my hopes up? It will get here when it gets here.

I don't think it is so much as who you used as a service when you filed as how you got your money back. If you requested the service you used to withold part of your return as their payment ("rapid return" or RAL loan), then those tax returns went through a bank that loaned you the amount of your return, then the IRS pays the bank. You could still have gotten a direct deposit of the loan, but the IRS wouldn't have your bank information...the bank that loaned you the money would. KWIM?

If you paid up front for the service and the IRS is the one that actually sent your money to you, then you should get back your rebate as scheduled.

HTH - we are in the same boat!

That is wrong because I used turbo tax and already received my check via direct deposit.

If you provided info on your 1040 to have your tax refund direct deposited then your rebate check will be direct deposited. If you chose to have your tax refund mailed....then your rebate check will be mailed.

Also FYI....it goes by the last 2 numbers in your SSN so if your last two numbers are 99 you're at the end and if they are 00 then you're one of the first. HTH

Here is the payment schedule for curious minds Stimulus Payment Schedule for Tax Returns Processed by April 15

As far as I heard you get it the way you deposite. Still the last of the direct deposites are set to get theres by next Friday. That's when we are expecting ours.

Its funny you mentioned the dead line. My dad had to finally buckle under and do his 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 taxes to be eligable. Its nice that my mother has finally been able to stop nagging him about taxes for a while
