Hey everyone,
I'm so angry I can barely type this.
Ok, I should have received our tax rebate today. No surprise. We didn't.
I understand things happen, but, what really gets me angry/upset/worried, is that the website and phone automated system is saying they have no information on us!
We filed very quickly, direct deposit, and received our refund by Feb. 15th.
We do qualify for this.
We used Turbo Tax online if that makes a difference.

Anyone going thru or have gone thru the same thing? It gets me very worried that they don't have any info. on my husband's ss number.

If you used an online program like Turbo Tax you will be getting a paper check. That's what the IRS website says at least.

HTH - we are in the same boat!

I just figure it will get here when it gets here. It's an extra - not something I'm owed.

Have you called your bank to check if there's any deposits on hold?

Isn't turbo tax part of the H & R block group. You might be able to check with them!

This is what I read, too. They say paper checks won't be coming until later.

It also says on the IRS website they will not have your information until 1 week you are to receive your payment.

SO, doing it thru Turbo Tax will make it come later? OK, as long as there may be an answer, I won't worry so much. Did I mention I'm a HUGE worrier?!

I understand it's an "extra", but an extra that they say we should be getting. If the website said they had our infor and it was being processed, I wouldn't be worried. The fact that they had none of our information is what upsets me.

But, I'm feeling better now that at least the turbo tax might be the answer. Oh, don't bother calling...they're inundated with phone calls (surprise, surprise) and aren't taking any calls!!

Thanks all for putting my mind at ease for now.
