No, I don't. There are still a lot of "wants" (snacks etc) I can cut from my groceryshopping before I would use a credit card for it.

I have done it in the past only because I was not aware of what I was doing.

Now I am going to be able to plan and budget much better.

We put everything on a charge card, but it's paid in full every month.

The last time we had to charge something and didn't pay it off right away was back when we were first married in the 1980s.

I am finally paying more attention to where our money is going right now (I know I'm bad ~ we never budgeted before). I have a set budget for groceries/eating out this month. When it's gone, it's gone.

We haven't & won't either. I'd get a job or dh would get a 2nd or we'd cut expenses before we'd do that.

Well, I had our internet cut off Friday. I wanted to do that before things got really tight. My fiance has had his hours cut back at work (he is now only working 4 days instead of 5) so these next few weeks (eke - months) will be a challenge to adjust to. At least I am able to use the internet at work.

(((((((wannabedebtfree))))))) Hopefully things pick up for your SO. It's good that you are able to look at the bright side and great that you are sticking to the principle idea of being debt free.

We put everything we buy on our credit card but we pay the balance in full each month. Thankfully we haven't gotten to the point where we had to charge food and gas and didn't have the money at the end of the month to pay for it. I so feel for those that are in that situation.

Nope. We don't have credit cards. When the money's gone. The money's gone. We just have to be a lot more careful with all the rising prices.

We went through that years ago, and I vowed never to do it again. In some ways we are still paying for that. We are just trying to be more careful with purchases.
