gas here jumped from $3.80 on wednesday to $3.93 today!

I had to break down and put gas in my car today. (I've been getting really bad lately with letting that needle get closer and closer to E before stopping and today it was on the wrong side of E......OUCH!) Anyway I paid 3.94 a gallon but saw several stations around town this morning that ranged from 3.90 to 4.00. Grrrrrrr!

I paid $4.55/gal for premium today. Regular is $4.35. It's driving me crazy that the price is escalating so quickly. I've spent all these years putting premium in my car (it's a 2000) because something on the gas cap says the engine runs better with it. I'm seriously considering dropping down to regular but keep thinking that if I change now and something happens to the engine I'll surely blame it on the the switch to regular. Can't win!

Here in my town the cost of gas is $3.95 a gallon.
