I have never lived anywhere that allowed that kind of manipulation. My store won't even take internet coupons.

The target here never takes internet coupons b/c they say "SuperTarget" on them and there is no "SuperTarget" in Michigan....Boy do I miss our Super Target in Indiana. Target does have good deals on coupons too!

For example, Crissy grabbed two boxes of cereal that were buy 1, get 1 free. The cereal was $3.79 a box. Crissy had a three dollar coupon for each box of cereal. She made over $2.00 when she pulled those boxes off the shelves. I thought I could only use one coupon, no matter how many boxes or cans or whatever I'd bought. So that's good for me to know.
This Is one thing I wish They would've Questioned Cooperate on.

Any place I Know Of ... You can only Use a Coupon For what You are BUYING.
You BUY 2 boxes and Get two Free, You can Only Use 2 Coupons, for the two Items You Are Buying.
You can't Use Coupons On the FREE items.

I must be blind because I've NEVER seen a coupon for $3.00 off of ONE box of cereal. The coupons I see are for $3.00 off SEVERAL boxes of cereal.

I've never been able to use coupons in that manner. The Ingles right down the road from my house will double coupons up to 50 cents, and you can only use one coupon per item. But if it is a bogo item, you can't use it on the second item because it is considered to be "free". I've never played the CVS game, but alot of the stores around here do not double coupons either.

our stores do BOGO as half price, so they allow you to use two coupons
for those whose stores don't allow this, would it be worth the trouble to go through the line with one of the BOGO items and one coupon and then come back a second time and do the same? If they're only charging half price, then they can't turn you down the one coupn can they? Or is it that you only get the half price if you have two items?

I've never heard of a $3 coupon for 1 box of cereal either. I don't think I've ever seen any cereal coupon for just one box.

I'm guessing those were ones she got from the manufacturer after a defective product or something. Like the rest of you, I can't see any other way she would have gotten a $3.00 coupon for a box of cereal.

Manipulation? What do you mean? Coupons are there for people to use. For people to save money. I think manipulation is a very strong word to use for someone who is saving her family money and doing it legally.
