I wish people who had nothing better to do would stop giving them ideas.

For those out there who say the rising gas prices aren't affecting them just because they or their spouse drives a company car, think again. The high fuel prices have trickled into every nook and cranny of our lives. You may not be paying at the pump, but you are certainly paying at the grocery store, for example, because food prices are rising as well.

It costs more to transport food and goods now and those costs are coming out of our pockets. It's scary when you really think about how every aspect of our society is being affected. I was blessed to be able to quit working a year ago to have our first child, so at least we are saving something on gas since I don't drive to a job. We live too far out of the city to ride bikes there but would definitely invest in good bicycles if we were closer to places.
