THIS is exactly MY thought! It seems like once they started talking about $4 gas prices they just skyrocketed again. On our local station, they said our town had the lowest gas prices in town and the next day the prices were raised up with the rest of the state.

It costs more to transport food and goods now and those costs are coming out of our pockets. It's scary when you really think about how every aspect of our society is being affected. I was blessed to be able to quit working a year ago to have our first child, so at least we are saving something on gas since I don't drive to a job. We live too far out of the city to ride bikes there but would definitely invest in good bicycles if we were closer to places.

Just my two-cents worth ..
I agree...and to add that if work keeps paying these high prices...work will start to layoff..
