I would take the risk since you both like it, it is the right price, etc. We had the same problem when we bought area rugs with new floors, too. I think that is a pretty standard policy.

Are you good at photoshop? Is there a picture of the rug. I always 'place' items in my room (a picture in photoshop) before I buy. I also choose paint colors this way. Good luck!

Thanks. I can hardly wait to take pictures .. there just seems to be so much left to do. Right now dh is putting in new baseboards, and then he needs to re-build the rail that separates out the living room from the kitchen. As soon as the rug is here and it's done, I'll post some photos.

I wouldtake the risk. You are pretty sure you will like the rug. The restocking fee makes sense to be from a business stand point.

Be sure you can keep the rug for a week or so before having to return it. You will know if you like it by then.
