We are in Southwest Michigan, here is what our utilities look like:

Electric: $100.00-$120.00 (year-round - we have all electric fence and usually keep the heat on 78 and air on 81)

Sewer: $0

Water: $0 (we have a well)

Garbage: $18

Gas/propane: $25 (we fill once per year at $300 per fill-up)

Satellite: $60.00

Phone: $0 - no landline

Cell: $46.00

Internet: $50

Total $319.00 per month.

*We heat with wood in our outdoor wood boiler. DH cuts wood for free on a friend's property. This heats our house and our hot water for about 9 months per year. We use propane for heat (if needed) and hot water in the summer months.

Gas-$81 we are on the budget payment, that way we have no payments in the winter time.Electric- $70-$90 the higher is during the summer months for a/c. Cable and net- $100 for the two together. Phone- $57 We live in Pa.

I live in texas so it gets hot here. The grass has to be watered more due to fire hazard, and the ac runs alot during the summer due to over 100 degree temps.

It was 99 today. My ac is set at 75 to conserve.

I am so glad you asked since we are moving and I am trying to budget for a bigger house abd bigger bills.

Electric- 250-300. My son is severly physically disabled and has to be kept pretty cool so we use AC the vast majority of the year. ( Gets super humid here) Wish I could get amount down but can't seem to be able to.

Electric, water and sewer is combined and is $120 per month on the budget plan. Natural gas is $68 per month on the budget plan. Trash is $50 quarterly. We cut out our land line and only have cell phones. Our cell phone plan is $48 after taxes and fees for 1000 any time minutes and unlimited incoming. DH has a tracfone that is $10/month.

We do have cable and Internet as a package from Comcast, but I consider that entertainment rather than utilities. That is $85/month after taxes and fees.
