We almost always go through a bank or a mortgage broker. Do you mean title company? I've had mixed experiences but in terms of fees I shopped around and they are almost all the same.

We recently re-fi'ed with Quicken Loans and the experience was spectacular! They sent someone to come to the house for the signing. They were quick. They were cheap. They were accurate. It was the most seamless, headache free re-fi I had ever done.
