First I want to thank everyone who replied to my prevous posts involving the car accedent I was in.

So I have settled and have a car again! A new to me 2004 forester. I stuck to my guns and got the payments I wanted and a great interest rate 5.25%. I was just exstatic when they told us we qualified for that rate. Our former auto loan was at 6%. So lower rate and lower payments. The only down side is we once a few more thousand then we did and are now restarting our term.

The other big and exciting news is that we settled with our insurance. They paid for our new car seat and we were able to prove that my old car was worth more the $10,600 I found enough ads that had a 01 Forester in the price of 12-13K and was able to get $11,500 for my car.

After paying the Downpayment on my car and the balance of my old car loan. I will have $1500 that I can put toward my higher interest CC.

So yes all this was a setback but no one was hurt and in the end sometime you can make things work out. Thanks again for all your advice and support. This has been a very stressful few weeks for me I am happy to have it all over.
