I would pack my bags and take that little girl to Disney! I get so tired of people telling me my girls won't remember something. Did you have fun today? That is what matters. I do things for my girls for today not for what they will remember. She will enjoy herself and have a great time. If *you* feel comfortable with your finances, I say go for it.

It makes me sick that we spent $2,500 (including a vehicle repair) in one week for a trip to my SIL's wedding. We could've taken the girls to Disney with that money. Oh well.

We went this April to WDW and my girls are 2 and 12.. I was tired of hearing "Oh she is so young to remember" She had so much fun.. My 12dd was already to old to enjoy the magical moments. Good thing she went before when she was younger.

Just remember YOU will never forget their faces when you walk through the gates and they see Mickey!!!! If you can do it GO!!!!

We went in Jan 08 and it was the family xmas present. ALL presents the girls received were things related to disney trip. I also asked family members to get them items/cash for disney. My girls were 9 1/2, 7 1/2, 4 1/2 and all of them still had the disney "magic". My 9 yr old was more than happy to see her favorite disney characters. The youngest was the only one to "believe" but my older girls were still happy to see princess and other characters. I think it depends on your kids and only u will know that. my 4 yr old still talks about disney and certain rides and things we did. They have started their own disney savings. I found a WDW winnie the pooh and gang bank at goodwill and they will put money in there from time to time.
I don't think waiting a year would make any difference but it would give u time to get deals figured out.

I am an unfair person to ask since I am addicted to Disney. However, we are debt free except for the house and set aside money 2 years at a time and go every other year. So of course I vote go if you will not go into debt to do it. One thing----my daughter is almost 2 and loved Disney. I think any age is a prefect time to go--either to Disney or any vacation. Kids will have a great time. As for remembering, who cares, I want to see their faces when we are there. I get so much pleasure from that. If they don't remember Mickey from when they were six except for a picture--so what---I remember my baby girl running towards her favorite character and being so happy to get a hug. We do things and allow our kids to have experiences for their enjoyment, but there is no harm in getting enjoyment for ourselves as well. I would never push a child to do something he/she does not want to do, but if they are excited to go---go--do--try things, if you can pay and not go into debt.

And where do you find such a great interest rate? I hear people saying stuff like this all the time, but no one ever says where you go to get that kind of interest rate.
