What would you do with the extra money that would normally go to a mortgage payment?

We'd probably go back to semi-retirement.

We'd invest the money into a retirement fund. In fact that is exactly what we hope happens in the next few months!

If the mortgage is paid off then we have no other debt (in my mind everything else gets paid off then the mortgage), so that being said, we'd probaly save most of it and enjoy the rest.
