I've been away from the boards for a little while because of several different reasons but now I'm back and really need to get my financial life back on track.

I left my job to be a full time SAHM less than 2 months before my dh lost his job. Needless to say things only went downhill from there. We were finally so far over our heads we didn't see much of a way out.

So we just packed up our lives and moved all the way out to far West Texas. We are staying with my family until we get back on our feet and can find a place. Dh and I are both working now and my mom thankfully has volunteered to watch the baby while I'm at work.

We're going to be working very hard to get our debts paid off and get some money saved. The economy had all but died completely where we were and we had to make a move to where the money is. Here's to hoping it was the right decision.

Thanks for the welcomes. Its good to be back. Financially things are turning around for us. Of course now we have the issue of living with family! But hopefully soon we'll find our own place. Before dh kills my sister.
