Bought a new van June 30th......am so happy. It has everything I want in it that my old van (11 years old) did not have. We looked at old and new and decided to go new for a few reason: dealers willing to bargain (we got our's below invoive), great interest rate (1.9% financing for 60 months!), and there was not a big price difference between brand new vans and ones that wer 1 - 2 years old.

We will have it for 10 years. Every day that I have used my van has been wonderful. I love it!

We bought a brand new jeep at the begining of our mariage and got scrued with that and then my sister bought the same jeep a year later for like 10,000 less. From that moment on we had written off brand new cars. we are now the owners of two new to us cars 07 toyota sienna ( program car ) and a 2000 dodge truck ( now car payment ) I have to say that buy used and saving the differnce is that way to go. even tought my van is not "new" with being a year old it still smell new and feels new to new and the best part is that I saved 9,000$ buying used!

Both of our cars were used when we purchased them. My car was a little a year old when we bought it and dh's truck was a 8 years old when he purchased it. I honestly don't think either one of use will ever have a NEW car, unless we pay cash for it. I have never had a car payment and I quite frankly don't want to know what it is like to have one!

We only buy used, for financial (depreciation) reasons. My dh is a Car Guy so that helps.

I have never owned a brand new car.

I have owned new cars but we go with slightly used now. I can't stand the thought of paying the depreciation and the freight charges.
My current car was bought at a year old (2001 in 2002). I will be looking to get a "new" car next year and will likely look at something that is a year or two old.

We've never bought new although it's a secret dream of mine to do so .. and we even have two separate family members who work for car companies and we can get the employee discount! Tempting but we still buy used.

Out of all of the vehicles I have owned all have been used but one. I did get to drive 4 company cars that were brand spanking new and I loved it.

I always bought new cars, because being a single mom; I always try keeping one with a warranty.

Three years ago, I was going to buy a used car, but they had the GM employee discount going for everyone, so a new one was actually cheaper than a used one.

Used. We live 10 miles out on gravel roads. By the time we'd get a new one home, it would be used.
