Dh and I never have owned anything but used. DH gets new company cars though and gets to use it for private use as well. He's getting spoiled.

I have owned both. My first three cars (Honda Civic CRX, Honda Civic, and Toyota Camry) were all purchased used. We did buy a new Toyota Matrix around the same time we bought the Camry but it was technically my husband's car. "My" (meaning I'm the primary driver) first new (bought new) car was my Honda Odyssey which we just purchased in November.
