For $20,000 would you be a surrogate mother if it was neither your eggs or your dh's sperm?

You just had to carry the baby to term & eat healthy.

You would receive $20,000, a generous maternity clothes budget, and all health care expenses would be covered.

I voted no. I would love to give someone the gift of a child (as long as the egg wasn't mine) but I just get too sick when preggos and it would hurt my family too much to give up 9 months of Mom in the bathroom over the toilet.

I voted maybe/other. The only circumstance I can imagine myself doing it would be for a relative or close friend. In that case, I wouldn't want any money. I admire those people who can do it for strangers, I just don't think I'd be up for that.

I voted yes. I would be honored to do that for someone. I had an easy pregnancy with my daughter, so I think this would be an easy 20K!

I know myself and know I couldn't do it. Even knowing going in that I would not be keeping the baby, there is no way I could not bond and feel as if the baby were mine during the months I was carrying them. Plus there is no way I could take money for doing this for someone as life is precious and if I could give them that gift, I wouldn't want anything for doing so. But I so admire women that can be surrogates!

I voted no b/c I'm high risk and on my 4th (and last) c-section. However if you would have asked me years ago before I had my 4th child I most likely would have said yes.

No and not because I'm afraid to have another C-section but because I don't want to carry a child for nine months (bonding with the child) and I have to let him or her go. I can't do it I mean the money is nice but I would not put myself in a situation when I know I'm going to lose.

I voted no for many reasons.

-Unfair to my family
-Bonding with the baby
-Would be a 3rd c-section
-I was SICK the entire time (again not fair to my family)

Nope. I might have done it for my sister if it were needed/requested, but I've no interest in having my body go thru such trauma.
