You bet! If I had the money right now, I would do some damage. I would mainly spend it on myself and that is something that I really never do. Here is what I would love to do:
get a pedicure, highlights, get acrylics on my nails-just silly stuff that I dont need but wish I could do once in a while.
I would also go to the eye dr and get my exam to get contacts and order like a years worth of those too. I went to the eye dr last summer so I have my glasses, but I hate them and would like it more if I could wear contacts again.
Clothes-nah. None for me right now. Now, shoes, oh yeah baby. I could go crazy getting shoes.
I guess that is all I would do if I could. Crazy thing is, dh would give me the money to do all of that, but being the level headed one, I wouldnt do any of it.

yes--i have been having a seeeeeerious bout of frugal fatigue for the last 2 months! there's been so much going on, and it has been just SO MUCH EASIER to spend the money and get the job done the convenient way versus going to longer way by saving...

i really thought i was the only one, happy i'm not.

but what makes this THE WORST is the fact that i'm in one of the worst financial crunches ever because i'm starting my own business--so the extra money HONESTLY is NOT there...and you'd think i'd be a coupon clipping, vinegar and baking soda toting, thrift store shopping mama jama. but i'm not.

i don't know if it's because i'm just so stressed out with other things or if it's because i'm just so tired.

right now i have been DYING to get a piercing and i have been DYING to get my nails and toes done. the itch to buy myself a used *see i'm still frugal at least a little* tiffany toggle necklace and bracelet set has been reallllllyyyyy burning my mind lately.

i know i'm going to wind up spurging on something. it will honestly probably be the piercing since i've been calling up the tattoo shops around here. when i found out that they made piercing and tattooing legal in my city i went bezerk. i went even crazier when i found out that the shops VERY close by here do the piercings that i want! so now...the only thing stopping me is SHEER willpower...which i'm running out of and fast!

Every time I get money from the ATM, I put $5 or $10 aside in a secret place. I've usually got about $50 there. Then, when I just can't take it any more, or if I want to do something outside the "budget" I can do it guilt free!

The funny thing is, more often than not, my "splurges" are on gifts for other people. Giving my best friend a basket of fancy soaps or a gift certificate for a massage really makes me feel abundant and overflowing and the frugal stuff is so much easier!

I have definately felt this way lately!! I am getting so tired of hearing dh say "in about 3 more weeks we should be caught up". Something always seems to happen and snatches up any extra money that we have. I am dying to go to the mall, I have only gone shopping one time since I had my son, and he is 15 months old!! I want to have a pedicure, get some new clothes, and hit the Lancome counter for some nice expensive makeup!
