I'm still shoveling it into stocks every month for retirement. Haven't changed a thing. I just try and think of them as 'on sale' these days.

Yeah, we're bargain shopping, too (ie: still investing in the stock market) but it is hard to figure out which items are good buys because they are simply on sale or which items are on clearance because they are completely out of fashion.

If your money is in a 401k, how is the investment allocated?

We scooping up a lot of stocks and selling options on them. It's been a very lucrative way to make money in a down market.

With at least 30 years to retirement our too is going into mutual funds and bonds. We are just trying to ride it out. Things will pop back up.
