I had to be off from work because of mono for two weeks and didn't have enough sick days to cover it (2 babies in 2 years and the sicknesses they have had have wiped me out). So that will be half a month unpaid! I sat down the very week before and made a chart and a plan to have our debts except our mortgage paid off and to increase our savings significantly by 2010. Now I feel like we're going to be playing catch up for months.
I'm thinking of asking payroll to take one day out per month (I'm on a yearly salaried contract) instead of one big hunk. *sigh*
