i have noticed a difference in the way people shop in my store. and if you mention credit, they give you the evil eye....
i know a lot of people who are having a hard time finding jobs and we ourselves are struggling to keep up with rising prices....

We live in south Texas, the oilfield industry is still booming, we have several refineries in our area. Unemployment is staying steady. "Help Wanted" signs are everywhere. A new subdivision is being built about a mile from me.
