There are alot of people to blame! Congress, President Bush, and yes maybe president Clinton. Let us not forget how much we are spending in a war that we shouldn't be in I support senator Obama I think he actually does want to work for normal American families. But to answer your question No it is not ALL of president Bush's fault.

My opinion is that it was a democratic congress whose members (career politicians) were "well funded" by special interest lobbyists who were feeding off of the greed of big business and social fairness programs coupled with some of America's citizens' warped sense of entitlement and fairness.

I think so many people have mixed their "dirty hands" in this financial mess. I think it started with Clinton, a dash of greedy executives, senators and congressmen linked with Fannie Mae profits, and the people who actually said "yes" to their "too-easy-obtain" creative homes loans. We really can't point just one finger. This whole mess just boils down to self-absorption and greed. Self-absorption and greed will always come back around and bite people in the face; unfortunately it's usually innocent people that get the brunt, while those who have no conscience reap the rewards...for now.

I believe I read that Bush tried to clean up the mess before it got monumental. But, it was shot down - because then, the greedy politicians would lose their cut, I suppose.

The whole thing infuriates me.

God help us.
