As many of you know, we've had a really rough time of it financially lately. A huge answer to prayer lately was my OB offering to see me without billing me until our new insurance kicks in in December. But we're still not really making it, and we've been trying to figure out how to get rid of our car, given we owe so much on it and have no savings with which we could buy even a $1000 beater. And this month has been especially difficult trying to figure out what to do because I'd have to get it registered (my birthday this month), and that $200 is simply not there.
We sent out a prayer request email about it to our church members. Two different people offered us to borrow their vehicles once we do sell the Subaru until we are able to acquire another one. Another friend was asking me more about our situation with the car, finding out how dire it is and whatnot. Well, he called back yesterday evening and told us that the Lord put it on their hearts to buy the car from us, and then they in turn would sell it with no worries, to take the pressure off us. Wow, huh?
So tomorrow I have to go to my babysitting job, go get the Subaru inspected, drive it 30 minutes to this friend's house where he will give me a check for it, then drive with him (or his wife) to our other friend's house another 30 minutes away to get their car which I will then drive another 45 minutes home. It's going to be a long day.
But it is going to be such a relief to get this whole car ordeal behind us, and to not have to make that payment every month anymore.
