When we went several year ago, we stayed at a hotel that had a full kitchen. So we went to the grocery store and bought frozen breakfast items. That way, we could eat breakfast in our room and then head off to the park. We brought our own snacks into the park. So virtually the only meal we ate "out" was dinner.

Also, when we went, AAA members were given a discount on tickets and at all the restaurants in the park.

Get to the park early if you can. The crowd is smaller and the lines are shorter.

Here are a couple of other discussion boards you might find helpful:

mouseinfo.com
miceage.com (the micechat section)
mouseplanet.com

These sites have some real disneyland regulars (like people who are there several times weekly) that offer great advice.

Many of the food places give really big portions. Sometimes enough to share (instead of each buying a separate meal).

Have fun.

Does anyone who does not live in CA have an annual pass? I wonder if it is worth it to purchase if you are going to go twice or three times a year?
