Hi Ladies-
I am wondering if any of you have any money-saving ideas for a trip to Disneyland (the one in CA, not FL). Any hotel suggestions? Websites? I thank you so much for your input!

I posted to you under the chit chat post. I hope you have a great time. I used to visit the discussion forums on mouseinfo.com, mouseplanet.com and miceage.com for ideas before I went. There are some real pros on there! Check them out.

Debbie- thank you for replying My post is no longer in chit/chat....I posted twice (I'm new at this) because I wasn't sure what category my question should go in. Do you think you could reply to me again with the info you left in chit/chat? THANK YOU

Hi! I had recommended the Howard Johnson hotel on Harbour Boulevard. It's a short walk to Disneyland, and quite nice. I also recommended going at a time when school is in session to avoid the insane crowds. I love Disneyland in the fall - October is a great month. Write more later.

I don't know about the hotel sites and stuff. But one thing that we did to save money when we went to Disney Land was take our own water, and pop. If you can get them cold and wrap them in foil they stay cold a lot longer. Also take snacks, and munchies so that you don't have to buy all your food there. Save the water bottles, and keep re-filling them at the water fountains. Just some little ideas, but I hope they help

I just bumped it back up for you in chit chat. Take a look in there. It had already moved to page 6. Just check through the pages and you'll find it. Right now it's back on top of page 1, but I'm not sure when you'll have a chance to check it. I put a few replies in there for you under your own in chit chat.

I agree with the advice of bringing your own water and snacks into the park. I brought a 24 pack of bottled waters the last time we went. Inside the park they are fairly pricey, so even if you buy them at one of the hotel shops you'll save money. Have fun!

We are crazy about the mouse! Try the website Disboards.com. A nice lady from here told me about it and I am there to learn all the time. They have a section on just DL.

Also the Disney Visa has free stroller rental in DL, Discounts on items in stores and a few discounts on food.

Do check out disboards.com and we will see you there.

Sorry, forgot one other discount, if you have an annual pass they offer discounts on rooms and dining. Take the time to sign up for the priate game, disney shopping and the website. Once they have your email they send out discounts via email.

Get your own spray fan at walmart not at the parks.
