How much do you pay for a basic cleaning? Vacuum, dust and wash floors. You can pm me if you like.

my house is 1900 sq ft. She does what you mentioned + changes the sheets on 5 beds and cleans 2 bathrooms and I pay her $80.(each time she comes) She comes twice a month.

I also pay $80 and my house is about 3000 square feet. They dust, vacuum, change the sheets, mop, clean 4 bathrooms, etc. - they don't do laundry, pick up any clutter, or anything like that. I have everything picked up and out of their way and the beds stripped when they get here. It takes 2 of them about 2 hours.

I pay $90, which I think is too high. I have considered switching people but my lady is unbelievable reliable. She just does the two main floors but does bathrooms, floors, makes beds, wipes down the furniture, makes the kitchen shine, dusts the corners on the walls, etc.

2 Main floors? How many floors do you have?

I have 3 floors about 2500 square feet, cost me $120 2x a month, too much but that's average price here. Does all your typical service cleaning (molly maids), no laundry. I'm about to cancel but it was a lifesaver after my c-section!

We also have a finished basement, which I don't have her clean. By "main" floors, I meant the floors most commonly used. I guess it was confusing considering most people use main floor/upstairs/basement.

Well I'm getting a deal then. He will be dusting furniture, vacuuming (what I consider a large area), and washing 3 floors(on hands and knees).
The thing that kind of killed me though was the first cleaning($60).........he was cleaning an already clean house. I cleaned over the weekend. I expected him to give me a price for what I wanted done. He's czech and I don't think understands everything, so he came ready to clean.
