I was wondering if anybody is making anything or doing anything frugal for their mom and MIL for mother's day. Are your kids going to make something or are you making something? I am thinking ahead and would really like to do something nice but not too exspensive.

My husband is making a lasagne dinner for me, my mom, my sister, and my daughter's boyfriend's mom. And of course, my bil, niece and nephew, dad, daughter and her bf will be there as well.

I made my mom and accordian book and put different flower seeds in each pocket. I also plan to put a little bit of $ into one of the pockets for her to buy some flower plants. She loves gardening and has extensive flower beds. I'll pair that with a small clay pot and gardening gloves.

Not sure what the kids will do for her? I may get two clay pots and have them each decorate one if I can't think of anything else.

I want to make my mom something but haven't figured it out yet. I thought of some beaded jewelry.
