Visit the Alamo or walk along the Riverwalk.

San Antonio has a great zoo, but its not free.

Don't you have to pay to get into the Alamo? I can't remember. It is really cool though. The Riverwalk is really nice and although it's not free, the boat ride is VERY enjoyable and educational about the architecture and waterway of San Antonio. I went on it two different times I went to San Antonio and liked it enough to go on again if ever there! My kids (although older than yours) really enjoyed it too.

The Alamo is free, they take donations but there is no charge. Parking in the downtown area can get expensive, many hotels offer free shuttle to the downtown area.

Loved San Antonio! We found lots of little concerts and things to attend while we were there, too. We picked up a local paper to find fun things to do.

Thanks I couldn't remember if we paid to get in or not. I just knew it cost us money but it was probably those pesky souvenirs we HAD to have!!
