I actually have a friend that comes to visit a couple wkends a summer and we do all the touristy things in my town.

We're taking M to do the downtown SLC thing this weekend. She will love riding the "train" (light rail).

Just think of what you would do with a friend who was visiting and hadn't been there before. That will help you think of all the tourist attractions.

We do but we live in a very touristy area - so Cal. We have local papers that are directed at tourists or you could look on the internet - we also have a couple of books for our area on things to do - there are tons of things to do and many are things we still haven't done and I am a native (born here). We did a "staycation" last year and visited some of the local tourist type things - hope to do it again this summer.
