I've never had it but know a few people that have. Do you think it is worth the money?

We have always had it. I just like knowing I have someone to call if my vehicle should break down and they take care of it for me. Plus you can get discounts in lots of places.

I have always had it too. I think it is well worth the money. There have been times that I have broken down in the middle of no where and get towed 200 miles. Dh blew a tire on a lonely highway a couple of years ago in the middle of the night and called them and they called someone that could help quickly.

If you lock your keys in the car they come and help, if you blow a tire they come and help, if you run out of gas they come and help.

Tell me, my car insurance, State Farm does a lot of this stuff. If I break down, they will tow me, free of charge, to the next town. If I lock my keys in the car, they will re-reimburse me for a locksmith. Is AAA more than that?

You also get discounts to hotels and some theme parks. Discounted travel. You get other discounts like when you order flowers online or shop with I think Target, barnes and noble online.

If you click here AAA MountainWest - Member Discounts you can see all the different discounts you get.

We have always had AAA since our cars are out of warranty. We don't use it often but we have had to be towed a couple of times and needed help with a tire once. The times we have used it have been worth the membership. We also get discounts at our zoo, and theme parks.
My mom is on Medicare and her drug plan has a coverage gap that she has to pay for everything out of pocket. She gets a discount with AAA, I think 10%, on her medicine. That adds up to quite a bit since a couple of her prescriptions are almost $200 a month.

I've had it for over 30 years .

I've used the discounts more than I've used it for my vehicle.

It is a nice "piece of mind" to have if we need it.

I have had and my parents have had for years. Like 40+ yrs!

You get about 10% off hotels/meals/attractions. For ex. if you buy a regular priced shoe at payless and show your card you get 10% off.

I like the others- like it for peice of mind when driving.

Also use if to getting maps- info on places we will be going to. We just got back from our driving vacation- and I used it to get maps/book hotles/they even mapped out the best route and told be litle tips about the places we were visiting.

We are planning to get it this month. One car is out of warranty and we do not want to take chances. And, our insurance does not pay for free towing, key locked in issues.

I have had in since I could drive...over 14 years. I always use it more than what I pay for it. We use it to get discounts on hotels, restaruants (we used it at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pittsburgh when we went there), when shopping online --can get discounts at Target, etc. We use it to get 10% off at Payless shoes. We've also use it to get discounts at various museums, attractions, etc. We will use it next month to get very discounted tickets (more than 50% off) to the Ohio State Fair. Even if we didn't use it for that it would be worth it for the tows, tire repair, and battery services that we have had to use for our cars (both older with more than 110,000 miles on them).
