We decided we are going to do more sledding and think of more fun things to do that are free this winter. we usually go but we are going to do more of it for free cheap entertainment.

How about you are you going to use the snow for free entertainment?

Definately! We do it because we love it, not because it's 'cheap' necessarily. We like sledding, building snow forts, snow ball fights, using colored water to color the snow etc

Other things we like to do that isn't free like skiing, snowtubing...etc

We're lucky my in laws have a big hill behind their house perfect for sledding! We don't have to buy new snowpants and suits for the kids because our oldest is 14 and they have saved all his suits so there is one for every kid that needs one

We would but we rarely have snow in NC. The kids love it when we do though.

LOL I guess truly having all four seasons has it's perks (sometimes)...each community in my area has there own free sledding hills, multiple outdoor skating and hockey rinks, cross country ski trails, nature trails. There are also +++ outdoor sporty things that aren't free of course LOL!

Burn the good candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion...Today IS special.

It rarely snows here and my son is "too old" for the activity. We traditionally get a MLK weekend snow and usually make a snowman who is usually gone the following week.
