How do you save money on plates, napkins, cups, etc? Especially if you like the Thanksgiving or Christmas themed supplies, they are usually fairly expensive.

I buy clearance and save things in with that 'holiday' stuff. Such as Easter supplies go in the tub with the decorations

I don't use paper/plastic dishes. I have a set of china and a set of crystal and it's always been plenty for whatever party I have. And people always offer to help clean up. As for napkins, we still have fall-themed napkins from our housewarming two years ago

I purchase at the after holiday sales. I did make an exception as Ollies had the 100 count large paper dinner plates for $1.99 as well as matching 125 ct paper napkins for same price. Also got a pkg of dessert plates as well. Then used my store loyalty card and the coupon they sent me in the mail. Our Thanksgiving Dinner will be in another state so am not willing to transport my good dinnerware. Maybe one day I can get everyone to come here...

Today I will p/u solid black paper products for New Year's. If they have any solid purple will get that for Easter.
