1. Wait until they come out on dvd and check them out from the library for free. Lately it seems like there is only a 6-9 month turnaround before they are in the stores.
2. Some theaters have free or discounted movies.
3. It's cheaper to go during the morning or afternoon.
4. If you love going to the movies ask for gift certificates as presents.
5. Bring in your own stash of goodies and drinks. If you buy popcorn and pop at the concession stand you end up spending as much if not more than the actual movie tickets.
