These are at some McDonald's restaurants. The one we work with has a Redbox outside the building, but I've seen them inside as well. It's a box, that's red.

You can rent a new release movie for $1 a night. It actually came to $1.07 for us, including tax. It takes credit cards or debit cards. We used the debit card.

You choose your movie, stick your card in, and your DVD comes out. You return it the next day. If you want to keep it two days, it just costs $2, etc.

Has anyone else used this?

Yes, we used to use it all the time until we signed up for Blockbuster online and we pay only $10 per month for unlimited movies. I like Redbox, but I like Blockbuster better because I don't feel pressured to watch the movie right away since I don't have to have it back the next day without getting a fee.

We've used it quite a bit too. As long as you remember to take back the movies right away it's a great deal. We've occasionally had movies be too scratched to view, which is a downside, but for $1 you're not out a whole lot of money if that happens.

We use the Hollywood video box inside our grocery store. Same idea as redbox, but our McDonalds does not have a red box. We love it, and if they are too scratched, there is a 1800 number to call and they are very helpful.
