Lots of great information on MouseSavers.com - Disney Discount Source - Disney World Discounts, Disneyland Discounts, Disney Cruise Discounts and for help with hotel info, check out Reviews of vacations, hotels, resorts, vacation and travel packages - TripAdvisor. We're going to DL in March, and I those two websites have been the most helpful during my planning.

We went to Disneyland a few years ago with Dh for work. We stayed at The Holiday Inn.. Dh has a rewards card for them, he ate free and kids under 12 ate free. So I got a coffee and english muffin in the morning and ate whatever dd didn't eat..

I loved Disneyland!!! It was our first time to DL, I liked it better than DW..
That could change we are going to DW in April, haven't been since 1995!

Definitely stay at one of the hotels outside of the park. We like the Park Vue Inn. It is right across from the main entrance. We used to have season passes so we would go about 3 times a year and stay over a night.

What my cousin did with her family of 4 girls and 2 adults was pack snacks and drinks. Each girl had their own backpack that they had to carry with the snacks and drinks of their choosing. They would snack all day and then have dinner either at the park or at Downtown Disney. If the girls wanted to buy food at the park, they would use their allowance money that they saved. I know that there is an Albertson's grocery store only a few blocks from the park. They would stop there and load up on snacks and drinks before hitting the park and keep the rest in their hotel room.

Definitely get a room with a mini fridge and microwave.

Go online and get coupons for Dennys, Mc Donalds, and IHOP. Those are the mainstream restaurants right outside the park.

You can buy discounted passes through Automobile club and at Costco. Also kids 3 and under are free so you don't need to get a pass for them.

If you can hit the park early morning and during the week it won't be as crowded. By noon it starts to get crowded even on weekdays.

If you have any birthdays coming up, maybe you can ask relatives and friends to buy you some Disney bucks that you can use at the park.

Have fun!
