We used to do it...gosh, many years ago now, with a group of friends of mine from college. It sorta fell apart when folks moved, had kids etc We probably just didn't try hard enough to keep it going but it was fun when we were doing it!

We took turns hosting, the host picked the game and we played all different kinds of games! The host also served dinner, and sometimes she would ask others to contribute and sometimes not...it just depended. There were about 6 couples for our group. It's more fun with just adults IMO.

I host a lot of PJ game nights with my girlfriends. I usually will send out an evite to them all and request each to bring a dish to share. I usually provide the drinks and plates and such and I have an assortment of group games and sometimes the girls bring some as well. Everyone leaves their kids with their hubbys (mine takes ours upstairs) and my gal pals and I just relax and enjoy ourselves. It's a great way to get together that won't break the bank!
