Does anyone have any board game suggestions for adults? Do you and your spouse play games such as scrabble, etc.? What games do you recommend to play with other couples?

Trivial pursuit, 20th century edition
Uno
Yahtzee (great for bars since it's just a score card and dice)
Pictionary

DH doesn't really like games but he "humors" me.

We have some friends that we get together with and play a board game called Sequence. It is REALLY fun!

I played some very fun games at New Years, but my mind is blank now! I am going to have to ask my friend what they were.
One game was where you read these weird phrases, and you couldn't tell what they were when you were reading them, but if you kept sounding them outloud, and repeating them, your teammates would eventually guess what the correct phrase was. Does anyone remember what this game is called?

Is that the one where, on the commercial, the guy was trying to say, "I'm a love machine"? I have always wanted to try that one.

I think you're talking about Mad Gab. My dh bought it for me for my b'day a few months ago and we still haven't played it yet.

We really like Apples to Apples. My parents love one called Kings in a Cornor, I have never played it. But they got it for Christmans a rave about it!!

We play more card games than board games.
We like one called Golf (we play this one a lot when we go to my parents house), We also play Kings in the Corners and one called 7up.
another one I just remembered called Hands and Feet
