Don't hesitate to consult with a travel agent about your two trips. Sometimes they can find outstanding deals for you.
Also, start signing up for e-newsletters. Look up the airlines that go in and out of your local airport. Sign up for the travel e-letter for all those airlines. Also sign up for e-letters from travel sites. My favorite is Frommers but you can Google "discount travel websites" and find tons of others, too. Of course, you'll also want to sign up to get the news releases from Disney.
Start taking note of discounts you get from other organizations. For instance, it might be worthwhile to become a AAA or Costco member. You bank, insurance company, or employer might have access to other deals.
Also look into getting your passports - and save up for those.
