In the fall and winter here we finally get to go outside and play!

By the end of September it will be cool enough so we can start going to the park and the wildlife rescue center where you can feed the animals. WE also go to the national parks that only cost a free dollars to get in and kids are free!

Oh, we had a somewhat cooler day here in the northeast yesterday and I was just thinking about fall....and soup...and football!!!

Like some others have mentioned, many of our pumpkin patches/farms specialize in "agri-tainment" which translates to: pay us a dollar (or 5!) for your kiddos to run around our pumpkin maze, ride tricycles, etc. We may skip it this year...

Instead, I'm planning on putting together a football party for some friends. Woo-hoo! Oh, and making lots and lots of homemade soup. Gotta love it!

Speaking of soup, I love making Chili. It is good and frugal. In fact I had a dream about it last night, must be the baby wanted it too.
