We had the same bothers with our Samsung rear pro. It was 3 years old when the pic went strange - bowed, distorted images and the convergence would not work. We had taken out an extended warranty (5 year) that cost us $300 extra at time of purchase. The repair was fairly simple and the repairman came to our house - they are mighty big things to move The repair was probably around $300 we were told but the insurance paid for it under the extended warranty. The repairman is a local man who we get to fix any of our electronic items, he says this is a very common problem with the rear pros but they generally are fine for a while after this type of repair. All big screens have their draw backs repair wise he said. We love our movies and would not be without our big screen but I'm in no rush to get a new one if I can avoid it!!
