Personally I don't like Branson. If you were actually staying in the area and not just an over night. I would recommend Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

I think my kids would prefer Branson over Eureka Springs. Both are fun but in my opinion eureka is more fun for adults- oldtime shops etc, romantic cabins. Branson has more family fun stuff. Again thats just my opinion
