My youngest DS has been sick all week and I need to get them out of here!

I don't want to spend alot of money so we are going to the mall to play in the free play area and then I have a coupon for buy one get one free pretzels for a snack, my sister is going with us and has a gift card she wants to use. So hopefully we will have a fun inexpensive afternoon!

I can't wait for warm weather!!!!

I'm with ya on that one! I am about to go crazy, myself. Here it is too cold to even take my kids to an indoor play area. Eh, we don't even have anything like that here.

Last year when it was nice, and I was about to go nuts I would just say, "Hey! Hop in the stroller, we're going for a walk!" I so wish I could do that right now.

Where I live there aren't many options in the winter either. Here are some other things we do:

The library
McDonald's Playland (not too expensive if you just go for an ice cream)
The YMCA (or other rec center if you're members)
Invite friends over

Yesterday we braved a walk outside since it was up to 30. It was so nice to get out for awhile.

Hope you have fun on your outing.

Even though it is plenty warm here, I understand how you ladies feel. Since I lost my job last month, I rarely go out. I am going crazy not having anyone to talk to during the day and I rarely go out anywhere. I really only get to go out on weekends to the grocery store because we have no other money. Yesterday I was so looking forward to going to some yard sales when my 11 yr old woke up with a fever and sore throat. I medicated her and waited until she went back to sleep. Then finally made it to a few yard sales. I didn't spend much, only $14. But I had a lot of fun and it helped tremendously with my boredom. I feel for all of you that are stuck inside because it is too cold.

I'm in the EXACT same boat and it's so nice to see I'm not alone! Kids and I have been sick all week. Now it's just too darn cold. I've been keeping busy with the typical cleaning and trying to spend time with the kids. But I can tell we're all bored! Boredom then leads to lethargy, where I don't feel like doing anything...even though I'm dying to anything!

Thinking of going to the mall, but I'm sure with all the sicknesses going around, that indoor playground is just a breeding ground for germs!
