Oh Stacia good luck with that pregnancy. Im sure in a few months it will be more happy than stressful. We are already planning our Disney trip and we arent going for 4yrs. But its costly and I want the kids to be able to do everything. I have never been. When we go my kids will be 10,8 and 5 and suggestions?

The place that we went thru to rent the house was Orlando Vacation Rentals. They have houses all over the Orlando area plus other areas of FL. They even have houses that have 7 bedrooms. They have 2 floor houses. The houses were in great condition. The one we stayed in was in a gated community. I would love to go back this year just to stay in one of the houses. Oh they also have some that have game rooms in the garage, with pool tables and such.

We rented strollers there. If I was smart, I would have gotten multiple day use. We got a double stroller and it was $31 per day. IF you can, BRING your own. Having a stroller for us once we got there, turned into a NEED with MIL, she needed to push something to keep her balance and her back straight. If you can go to Walmart and buy a $10 stroller, DO IT.

We just got back from our Disney Vacation. Here is what I bought and the cost:

Mickey Mouse Ears(regular black ones)-9.95
Shot glass(a very cute tall one)-5.95
Collector Spoon(very cute pewter)-8.95
Small Minnie Mouse-14.95
Adult shirt-18.95
Tinkerbell Penny Book-5.95
In the Downtown Disney Store they had a My little pony station where you could get disney princess clothes for your pony and other accessories, all you could fit in the box and it was $18 I believe.
That is all I can remember off the top of my head. I didn't save receipts. We didn't buy a bunch of souvenirs. My DD is only 3. She probably won't even remember this trip. ha!

Oh and we did buy some postcards to mail to family. They were only 75 cents. They had others that were up to $2 a piece.

There is a website MouseSavers.com - Disney Discount Source - Disney World Discounts, Disneyland Discounts, Disney Cruise Discounts .
I have seen offers for resorts starting at $60/night. We bought t-shirts and a couple of "souveneirs" at our local Disney Store at the mall, they were having a great sale. As the trip went on, we would pull out a "souveneir" from the luggage and the kids were thrilled.

I think we took some water bottles to the park with lemonade drink powder. The tap water in Disney tastes different I think.

I thought the water even smelt funny! We brought bottled water and carried a couple in a backpack. We too bought the premeasured koolaid packs and used those. The only time I bought a drink our whole trip was at dinner. I even brought shelf stable milk and we brought snacks. We carried several snacks in our backpack too. Also if your child would enjoy this, bring lots of quarters and shiney pennies for the penny press machine. My DD loved pressing pennies!

We were in WDW in April. I can't wait to go back. Maybe next year around the holidays. Just need to talk dh into it..
We packed water and snanks for the parks.. Next time I will do the dining plan. I will stay at a closer resort. We stayed at the pop.. To far from parks with bus rides. Bought clothes before hand.

They are offering a special for August- Sept special dates for free dining!!!
