Has anyone used Skybus, or actually gotten any of those advertised $10 seats? What was your experience like? What are some of the best sites for cheapest airfare comparisons? Thanks in advance.

I've never used SkyBus...can't help you there.

We use the whole gamut of sites to look for good deals. We've never found one better than the others. Just depends on so many factors...where you're going, when, how many people etc They're all pretty easy to use, so just take some time and check them out (expedia.com, travelocity.com, kayak.com, orbitz.com etc) I also call the airlines directly and find out from the horse's mouth if they have any specials. I've gotten good deals that way over the years, when the travel sites were showing much more. So it's worth the time to check.

Also having flexible dates and more than one airport can help quite a bit.
