We're going down this month. Any tips? It will be me, my husband, my 15 year old niece, my pre-schooler daughter, and infant son.

I haven't been but it sounds like fun. Hope the baby doesn't get scared by all the noise!

No I haven't but I've been to other sporting events and personally, I wouldn't be taking an infant with me. They are very loud places and not somewhere I'd want my baby at.

Hope you guys have fun!

If you are going to the Staples, be prepared to pay for parking and/or walk. It's going to be in downtown L.A. and it's not as glamourous as what is portrayed on TV. And I wouldn't take an infant either, but that's just me. I know how my kids are! Otherwise, it's a very nice venue. And bring lots of money--food ain't cheap!

I wouldn't bring your infant either. I have been to a Lakers game and it gets very loud in there. Constant music, cheering, clapping, screaming, etc.

Food is expensive, but you can try to sneak some in your diaper bag. Or have a big dinner/meal before the game and just buy a few snacks at the venue.

Parking is expensive.

Being that it is in downtown LA there are a lot of neat places to eat within 20 minutes of Staples Center.

Little Tokyo (I used to work at the Japan America Theatre there) has a ton of good restaurants. Senor Fish (the best fish tacos ever!) And of course lots of good Japanese restaurants.

There is also Olvera street for good Mexican restaurants.

I don't think there is too many restaurants immediately around Staples Center so you will either have to eat at the few restaurants in the building or drive somewhere.

Have fun!

Well I think leaving the baby in the hotel room while we attend the game isn't really an option. We've taken our daughter to Seahawk's games so noise isn't too much of a worry. We have VIP parking but I'm not exactly sure what that means. Guess we'll figure that out.

I'll keep Little Tokyo in mind for food. Thanks!

VIP means that you are a little closer than the regular parking. But it's still a bit of a walk so bring the stroller....and hide some snacks and drinks in it too to help save some money :D.

Have fun!
