of dvd's? We have friends that are BIG movie buyers. He has a notebook in his movie room (yes he has a special room in the basement for the movies) where you just write down your name and what movie you borrowed. For the most part I still get mine from the library, but it is nice when there is a long wait list for a certain movie.

yes, we have a dvd library and several family members and friends come over to borrow them. when i lend out, i write down who took what. my dh does not. so many of his "friends" do not return them. but, they are usually dh movies, so it's not that bad.
